Getting around: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service within a 2.5-mile radius which includes the adjacent golf course. Nearby I-595 is the easiest approach into the downtown and beach area. Traffic typically moves smoothly and speedily on a grid pattern east-west to both coasts and north-south from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. Streets near the Intracoastal or the ocean may be more confusing to negotiate as they wind around waterways. Traffic is much slower along A1A but A1A provides the best scenery. Even more water views are enjoyed from the water taxis which stop along the Intracoastal Waterway and the New River into downtown Fort Lauderdale. Fares are $5–15 per day.
